What happens if i get ripped off on ebay

As others have suggested, it's nearly impossible for a buyer to be "ripped off" by a seller if the buyer follows the protocol. And sice you have FB, I am sure you know what that is. The more appropriate question these days is "Have you ever been ripped off by a buyer? Ebay bends over backwards for buyers so how were you ripped off? Did you buy junk from the inferior products capital of the world, China?
If yes then that's the problem. Yes, I just got ripped off by an Ebay seller nospartsnow. I paid, he shipped, USPS misdelivered, thats it. No hugs or kisses; just nothing. Seller got paid immediately thru Paypal.
What did I get? I have been ripped off! Short story, won bid, item shipped, USPS left empty box in plastic bag, eBay decides item delivered, no refund. Turn on suggestions. You can try another call to ebay and ask for a supervisor. But, I fear you won't get to first base with it.
A court case would be very hard to prove also. Sorry I don't have a better answer. Unfortunately this is a very common occurrence on eBay. There are even videos on YouTube where sellers talk about this very problem.
